Medical Surgical Registered Nurses - PRN

We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, compassionate and experienced Medical Surgical RNs to work in a world renowned facility in the Clear Lake / Webster area. This position is a Per- Diem position.

General Responsibilities:

• Caring for patients that are on the med/surg floor
• Well versed in infection control, pain control, patient assessment as well as wound care
• Providing care for all ages and all types of illnesses
• Providing support for patients and families

Essential Duties:

• Conduct individual assessments for patients
• Develop a plan of care that is individualized to the patient’s needs
• Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by the physician in a timely and accurate manner
• Document patient’s assessment finding and progress

Other Duties:

• Provide ongoing education to patient and family
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with other health team member’s in an effort to maintain patients ongoing plan of care
• Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job; may be altered or reassigned depending on needs.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2+ year of Medical Surgical experience
• Must have CPR certification
• Must have current TB clearance
• Must meet Pulse’s hiring criteria
• This is a 21 bed facility

Primary Location: TX – Clear Lake - Webster
Rate: $35 an hour
